My Motivation

In 2014, I went on my first Work & Witness trip to Ecuador. It was a life changing experience for me. When I returned to the sates, I knew I wanted to get more involved with missions. In 2017, I went to Costa Rica on another Work & Witness trip. Physically I was unable to do the physical labor on the building, however, i was able to do everyone's laundry. Did you know you could receive a blessing from doing laundry? One of the highlights of the trip was working with the kids doing Vacation Bible School. I can still see their faces as they learned about Jesus.

My Background

I have been the NMI President for many years in our local church. I enjoy sharing how God is working on the Global and Local mission field.

My Spiritual Journey

I was blessed to be raised in a Christian home and have been in church all my life. I gave my life to the Lord at camp when I was 7 years old. God has worked in my life in so many ways and I will forever be grateful to Him for the many blessings I have received.

One More Thing

I love to read and sew, especially quilting. I recently bought a t-shirt that say's "Blessed are the quilt makers for they shall be called mask makers." I'm also a grandma to six amazing grandsons, four of whom live with me, which brings lots of love and laughter into our home.
